PONY CLUB AREA 7 ARENA EVENTING QUALIFIER FOR THE BARRIER ANIMAL HEALTH SPRING FESTIVAL

Only open to Area 7 members of The Pony Club 

 

Classes 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm

 

The course is on an arena surface and made up of show jumps, plastic XC fences and secured wooden XC fences with an optimum time. Riders will jump a series of show jumps and then proceed immediately into the XC phase.

If there are any spaces remaining after this date, LandS Eventing will offer the spaces to unaffiliated competitors.

Those eligible combinations from Area 7 may enter online at:www.horse-events.co.uk Entries subject to a non-refundable booking fee.

Order of jumping will be drawn and running order published.

NUMBERS: Numbers for bibs can be printed from the Horse Events website, please remember to bring your own number bib.

Times will be published on Wednesday 9th November 2022 on www.horse-events.co.uk  and the Pony Club Area 7 website.

STOP WATCHES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Time will be taken overall.

Branches may enter a team of three or four members in the Dressage and Arena Eventing Area qualifying competitions.

The team members can compete at different levels or all at the same level or a mixture of the two.

A team must comprise of at least three members (i.e., one member may ride two horses) and the top three scores to count.

The winning Branch team at each Area competition will qualify for the Barrier Spring Festival.

If any of the individual qualifiers are in a qualifying team their place will be passed down the line.

 

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

Withdrawals and Refunds:

Withdrawals received on/after 30th October will not be refunded unless accompanied by a vet certificate or doctors note. Withdrawals received on/before 29th October will be refunded the entry fee less the booking fee.

If the event is cancelled for any reason (including but not limited to, Government or Pony Club Covid 19 related restrictions) entry fees will be refunded less an administration fee of up to £5

  1. The show will be run under the Pony Club Eventing Rules 2022/23 and the Pony Club Spring Festival England and Wales 2023 – Arena Eventing Rules, all of which are available on:

    1. Riders must be current members of the Pony Club.
    2. Riders cannot compete in more than two classes per day. Horses/ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than two classes on the day.
    3. Competitors may qualify a maximum of two horses and/or ponies for any one Championship Class. Riders/horses/ponies and/or combination of horse and rider can qualify for more than one Championship Class
    4. Vaccinations – Pony Club rules on vaccinations apply – see biosecurity policy on https://pcuk.org/about-us/policies/ DC’s will be required to vouch that all their branch competitors meet the requirement. Spot checks may be made.
    5. Cross country compliant XC kit and saddlery should be worn. The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules apply at all area Competitions.
    6. The Judges’ and Organisers’ decision is final
    7. No horses/pones are to be left tied to the outside of a lorry/trailer. No haynets outside lorries, please clear up any droppings before leaving the venue.
    8. Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times. Any dog mess must be cleared up.

    11. Please note that if you do not adhere to the rules you may be asked to leave the site even if you have not yet competed.
    12. Any objections should be made by the respective DC to the Secretary with a deposit of £10 within half an hour of the incident. If the objection is not upheld, the deposit will be forfeited.
    13. Health and Safety The organisers of the event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials.
    14. Legal Liability Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever

This event is being organised by Area 7 Pony Club . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
