Important Information

Times & Course Walk

Times available on horse-events Friday 8th July

Course available for walking Saturday 9th July from 2pm (but may not be finalised until 1 hour before the first class and thereafter 10 minutes before each class in accordance with BRC rules)

Withdrawals & Refunds

WITHDRAWALS ~ by phone (but please confirm by email immediately) or email by 1200 on Monday 27th June

 

REFUNDS ~ Wait lists will be kept for all classes which fill.  Withdrawals will be eligible for a refund  only if the entry can be replaced from a WL entry or late entry for the same class on the same day

After the Withdrawal date refunds will be give minus £5 admin fee ONLY if replaced from the wait list. (if you are not replaced NO refund will be issued)

In case of abandonment, please call 07976 273289.

In the unlikely event of abandonment, £10 from every entry will be kept by the organiser to cover cancellation costs; all  the remaining monies will be refunded.

Please remind your riders to bring their horses’ vaccination certificates/passports with them. If no certificate/passport is produced on request it could incur disqualification and it is illegal to travel your horse to the competition without it.

If any club members/supporters can volunteer to help on the day please let an official steward know area18.officialsteward@gmail.com.

They will likely be fence judging and they will be extremely well looked after by Lands Eventing.

Conditions of Entry

Entrants for the unaffiliated non-qualifying classes must be aged 12 or more on January 1st 2022. All competitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Hard Hats: Hats must be worn correctly fastened at all times when mounted in accordance with 2022 British Riding Club Rules. Medical Arm Bands are strongly recommended and back protectors bearing a purple Beta Level 3 2009 or later, or blue 2018, must be worn on the cross country phase in accordance with 2022 British Riding Club Rules. Hybrid air jackets and air-jackets incorporated into a blouson style jacket are permitted. Exo body cages are permitted with a Level 3 2000 purple label.
The secretary must be informed and given your allen key before your round. Competitors must have the aqua BRC, BE or PC hat tag.
All competing horses and ponies must have up to date flu vaccinations and comply with BRC rules. If your flu vaccination does not comply you could be eliminated – annual booster injections are required.

The decisions of the judges and/or the official stewards are final. If cancelled, administrative fees will be taken out of any refund.

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.

Non-BRC members must have their own insurance.

No entry fee will be refunded after the closing date without a doctor’s or vet’s certificate. No horse may compete in 2 classes.

Please supply an emergency contact number on your entry form and advise us if you are travelling alone.

Special requests for times must be included in the notes on entry. No adjustments will be made after the times are published. The organisers may not be able to accommodate all requests.

All entries MUST be paid via horse-events.

PLEASE BRING A LARGE STAMPED, ADDRESSED ENVELOPE FOR TEST SHEETS/ROSETTES TO BE POSTED.

Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place during the competition – this could be in the arenas, cross country and lorry park during competition hours. If you do not wish to appear in any images captured please inform the secretary so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included.

 

Event Booking Information

This event is being organised by LandS Eventing Ltd. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
