ALL entries are subject to a non refundable booking fee of £1.50

Paper numbers will be issued so please bring your own bib

This competition is run under Pony Club 2019 Eventing Rules and I hereby confirm my acceptance of those rules, the rules in the Schedule and also confirm that I agree to myself/my child being photographed by the course photographer.

All horses must have an up to date vaccination record which may be inspected. Please refer to Rule 23 in the 2019 Pony Club Eventing Rules (See 1. Above for link).

The decision of the Judges and Organisers is final. They reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any part of the competition, or refuse any entry without stating a reason.

In the event of cancellation, the entry fees, less £10 per entry, will be refunded on receipt of a S.A.E. within 28 days of the event date.

Entry fees can be only refunded after the closing date on production of a medical or veterinary certificate within 7 days of the competition date. An administration fee of £10 will be retained.

The organisers reserve the right to eliminate any competitor, who in the opinion of the judges, is not capable of riding the course, or who uses bad language or abusive behaviour.

LEGAL LIABILITY. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or the Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

COURSE INSPECTION. The cross-country course will be open for inspection from 14.00 hrs on Friday 5th July 2019. Take care if walking on Saturday as course will be in use.

Competitors wearing body cages MUST leave the key with the Secretary.

All horses must have an up to date vaccination record which may be inspected. Please refer to Rule 23 in the 2019 Pony Club Eventing Rules (See 1. Above for link).

HEALTH AND SAFETY.

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times when mounted and also for dismounted prize giving.

Body protectors are recommended for Show Jumping and are compulsory for the Cross Country. If a rider chooses to wear an air jacket it must only be used in addition to a normal body protector. In the event of a fall it must be fully deflated or removed before continuing, the conventional body protector will continue to give protection. Air jackets must not be worn under a jacket and number bibs should be fitted loosely or with elasticated fastenings over the air jacket.

A protective helmet, with a cover, meeting current Pony Club/British Eventing standards must be worn. All hats must be correctly fitted and tagged.

All horses must be aged 5 and over.

Any queries or complaints must be in writing and handed to the Organiser within 30 minutes of the incident together with a fee of £20, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.

In the interests of safety, dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times and NO STALLIONS except by prior permission.

Competitors must present themselves to the steward for tack inspection at least 20 minutes before their dressage time.

This event is being organised by Area 12 Pony Club. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking.
